About Me
Hello! My name is Mrs. Sobotka and I have been teaching at Stone Scholastic Academy since December 2009. I graduated from Western Illinois with a bachelors degree as a Learning Behavior Specialist.I currently am pursuing my Masters in LBSII, focusing on becoming a Behavioral Intervention Specialist for Stone.
I have always been interested in teaching. Even as a small child I would play "teacher" with my younger siblings. Throughout college I learned that I really enjoyed helping children, especially those that needed extra support. Teaching is not just a job to me but it is an inspiration. To me, it is very rewarding to see progress that the students make especially inspiring those children that need the most attention. The look on the child's face is priceless when they recognize there growth and see the possibilities. I look forward to the many years of teaching and the continual strides of making a difference in the lives of children.
